Nearly 1 million Palestinian women and girls have been displaced from their homes in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli genocide, and are living in inadequate shelters with severe challenges accessing menstrual hygiene products, toilets, water, and privacy. MIFTAH collected testimonies from women running aid organizations in Gaza. These women have become the backbones of their communities, putting their lives at risk to provide essential services for the people around them even though they themselves are displaced, living in tents, and in need of essential services.
