Dear Friends and Partners,

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that, following a majority vote by the Board of Trustees and an announcement by the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Lily Feidy has been approved as the new Secretary General for the Palestinian Initiative for the Promotion of Global Dialogue and Democracy – MIFTAH.

As many of you may know, Dr. Feidy has been with MIFTAH since 2002 as the Deputy Secretary General for Program Design and Management. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to congratulate her and wish MIFTAH continued success under her leadership.

I will continue to serve MIFTAH as the Chair of the Executive Committee, together with my colleagues on the Committee Dr. Rema Hammami, the Deputy Chair; Dr. Azmi Shuaibi, the Treasurer; Mr. Abdel Qader Al Husseini, the Secretary and the rest of the members. Finally, I want to thank all of you for being good friends and partners of the organization throughout my tenure and I am confident that we will continue to cooperate in the service of MIFTAH and the Palestinian people.
