The Campaign for the Right of Entry/Re-Entry to the occupied Palestinian territory wishes to alert ALL who submitted visa renewal requests through the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in 2006:

If you applied for a visa renewal through the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in 2006 and

1. your visa expired in 2006, or;
2. your visa WILL expire in 2006

please contact the Jerusalem Legal Affairs Center (JLAC) at 02-298-7981.

JLAC is collecting names and documents of those who applied for visa renewal in order to submit a letter requesting visa extensions to Israeli authorities. If you want to be included in the JLAC request, please prepare copies of your passport and the Israeli-issued visa, and fill out the attached form. Fax all copies to JLAC at 02-298-7982.

You must respond by Wednesday December 6 in order to be included in the letter. While there is no guarantee that your visa will be extended this way, it is important for any future legal action to demonstrate that your visa expiration was forced on you.
