The Media Review Network condemns the hostile reaction by the pro-Israeli lobby, against the screening of the John Pilger documentary on Etv, titled “Palestine is still the issue”.

We view the campaign to block the screening as intimidatory bordering on intellectual terrorism. It is ridiculous to suggest that criticism of Israeli racism and Zionist occupation of Palestine is anti- semitism.

It is equally bizarre to imply that the producer of 3rd Degree Debora Patta , who will be conducting an interview with Pilger prior to the screening of his documentary and thereafter debating the merits or demerits with a panel, is “racist” and a “Jew – basher.”

The Media Review Network opposes the attempts by Israeli apologists to stifle any exposure of Israeli barbarity and congratulates eTV for not bowing to blackmail and other forms of threats, including provocative chain letters.
