Yabous has proudly completed a successful participation in WOMEX 2002 -World Music Expo - in the city of Essen in Germany, which took place during the period of 24th – 27th of October.

This was the first participation of a Palestinian organization in such a huge and important international cultural event, considered to be one of the biggest in the world.

Yabous Productions, and through this participation was able to put Palestine on the map of culture of the world, as it succeeded in opening dialogues with a large number of Festivals, distributors, agents, and organizations.

The participation has proved its importance for the issues of distributing Palestinian CDs, promoting Palestinian artists and most of all in spreading the Palestinian culture and message of humanity and existence to the world. Moreover, such a participation keeps Palestine on track concerning what is going on in the world of music and culture around this globe.
