Pasadena Area Coalition for a Just Palestinian-Israeli Peace will sponsor a festival for peace, unity and diversity.

Sunday, December 8, 2002 between 4 pm and 6 pm.
Central Park, Pasadena, on Raymond 2 blocks south of Colorado Blvd.

Come to show your support for an end to the Israeli occupation and a just peace between Israel and Palestine. The festival will feature a drumming circle as well as spoken word, poetry, music and peace activists including; Jorge Monterosa, Saleem, Emma Rosenthal, Rabbi Moshe Halfon, Rabbi Paula Reimers, Reverend Darin Nathan, Reverend Bret Newton, Dima Hilal, Matt Horton and Rola Karam. The theme of the festival is "Not by might, not by power, but by spirit alone shall we live in peace." Bring drums, zills, tambourines or pots and pans for the drumming circle and flashlights for a vigil at dusk. Parking is at Raymond and Green. For more information contact (626) 791-1978 ext. 131.
