TALKING POINTS:

* Prime Minister Sharon is telling members of the Knesset that he has reached an understanding with the Bush Administration regarding the settlements and that the US has responded positively to Israeli demands.

* Pro-Settlement and Pro-Occupation forces that voted against the peace plan are now saying that they feel confident that Sharon will do his best to block the peace plan; as a result they will not bolt from Sharon's government. "It would take a miracle for the Palestinians to fulfill the demands listed by Sharon," rejoiced Yahalom, whose party voted against endorsing the peace blueprint on Sunday.

*Demand that the billions of dollars wasted on Israeli apartheid expenditures be used to revitalize our own economy. We cannot afford to subsidize those that pose a serious threat to our interests. The Israeli policy of violence, settlements, and apartheid pose a threat to the very principles of freedom that we stand for.

*President Bush has repeatedly and explicitly said that the prospect of Middle East peace depends on the evacuation of illegal Israeli settlements on Palestinian land. Prime Minister Sharon has made a mockery of President Bush by stating that he and the President see eye- to-eye on the settlements. Someone is lying. Demand the truth from the President.
