This afternoon, Wednesday 6 August 2003, over 300 Palestinian prisoners and detainees were released from Israeli prisons and military detention camps. However, exact numbers of those released are as of yet not available. At the time of writing, at least 5 sentenced prisoners slated for release remained in prison as a result of petitions filed against their release.
