MIFTAH and REFORM [The Palestinian Association for Empowerment and Local Development] signed a memo of understanding on February 13 as part of their bid to promote cooperation in capacity-building for young leaders, and to include them in the current national dialogue. The organizations believe this is conducive to creating broader participation and dedication to the values of democracy and to contributing to building a Palestinian state characterized by pluralism and which preserves its citizens’ rights and dignity. Through building partnerships, MIFTAH seeks to support organizations run by Palestinian youth.

The memo of understanding was signed by MIFTAH CEO Dr. Lily Feidy and Director General of REFORM Oday Abu Karsh. The two parties expressed their interest in building a relationship based on partnership and cooperation through interventions that coincide with the overall mission of each separate organization.
