Ramallah – MIFTAH Board of Directors Chair, Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, yesterday received Swedish Consul General Jessica Olausson and Gender and Program Manager Maria Ardaji. They discussed Palestinian-Swedish relations and the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, including general elections and the possibility and consequent repercussions of their postponement.

The participants also focused on the role of the EU, calling on it to exert pressure on Israel , both in terms of holding elections in Jerusalem and on other issues pertaining to Israeli measures.
