Israel has added a new target to its ever-growing list of symbols to be attacked and destroyed in its current war against the Palestinians. In addition to hospitals, ambulances, doctors, journalists (both Palestinian and foreign), schools, factories, women, children, men of all ages, refugees, city dwellers, farmers, well…. everything Palestinian, the Israeli list or "terrorist targets" now includes religious symbols of the Christian world such as the statue of the Holy Virgin Mary located on top of the Holy Family Hospital Chapel in Bethlehem. There is no justification for racist, discriminatory hate crimes such as this.
