The Israeli radio mentioned yesterday Sunday 6/11/2005 that the Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister will demand the UNRWA to pass its duties to the PNA.

Al-Dameer Association for human rights looks with serious concerns to this announcement and considers it as an attempt made by Israel to get away from its responsibilities as an occupation country in front of the International community where it considers itself that it ended its occupation after the evacuation from Gaza Strip.

Al-Dameer Association for human rights assures that Gaza Strip is still under the occupation and what the Israeli Government did is just redeployment to its Forces and is still considered according to the international laws as an Occupation Government.

Al-Dameer Association for human rights demands the international community and especially the United Nations not to respond to this announcement and if they respond to it, it will be considered as a serious violation to the International Law.

Al-Dameer also demands the international community to make pressure on the Israeli Government to make it fulfill its duties and respect the Fourth Geneva convention if it wants to consider its evacuation from Gaza Strip as an end to the occupation and reopens all the cross points and hands the authority to the PNA.
